this weekend...

On Friday night I got to hang out with one of the long term american missionaries I met in Haiti, Ruth! We (most of the Haiti team from last year and some people who are going to go this summer) had a cookout in Coolidge park and listened to our friends who were on the radio that night and took lotsa pictures! Saturday I went to dance in the morning, and went from there to the Creative Discovery Museum downtown. A group from Hilger plus Ruth and her husband went to the museum to hang out and play with some inner city kids:) . This morning I went to the Haiti team leaders' church (Ms. George) with a few friends to see Ruth before she left early this afternoon. After church my friends, Ruth and her husband, and one of the teachers at Hilger went to Ms. George's house for lunch. After that I went home to change super fast and then ran out to a 3 hour dance rehearsal.
This probably doesnt completely make sense, so sorry! Sarah told me I needed to write a blog post because she checks my blog every week....so this one's for you Sarah!! haha

in less than 12 hours...

...my team and i will be leaving for Haiti!!! this is one of our 2 leaders -

our whole team is meeting tomorrow at 4:15 a.m. and leaving at 4:30 sharp for the Atlanta airport!! we are flying from Atlanta to Miami, then Miami to Port au Prince, Haiti (i think)!
